Happy birthday to Home and Away! It’s 25 years today since it first aired. Back then, Alf was but a nipper, and Gawd hadn’t saved Ireland yet. Tell us what your favourite H&A moments are in the comments! My personal favourites are Saul’s cult (I said cult), and most recently, Sid in the ditch. Milco turning up was pretty good too.
In today’s episode, The Boize went to The City to fetch Kyle. They had to wear jackets for this. A serious operation requires serious clothing, or, at least, fewer vests. After some police action, and chats to Kyle’s mate, Brax and Heath got their man. Now, what will they do with him?
Bianca is a shambles. She fell asleep at work, then went straight to the next level with Adam, in order to ensure her gear supply doesn’t dry up.
Bianca is on the warpath. Everybody is interfering in her business. She can’t even take prescription drugs and space out in peace without having half the Bay all up in her grill. First Natalie stuck her nose in, then Irene poked around, but Liam calling over to “talk” was the last straw. She rang Heath and gave him an earful then gave Liam and Natalie a serve in Angelo’s.
He had other things to worry about, like roaming around the city in the rain with Brax. They’re on a Kyle hunt and managed to find a place he’d be staying but the girl staying there said he’d gone. Where next for the brothers Braxton? I don’t think they’d make good detectives as Kyle was there all along. He decided to leg it when he figured out the boys were after him but changed his mind and organised a showdown under the bridge, plus he brought some backup. Get ready for some bashing.
If Natalie and Brax don’t get back together, then how about Liam and Natalie as a new couple? They are both involved in problem solving/advising/general nosiness.
Leah went on a lunch date with Jamie in a massive gaff. He managed to talk her into it despite her initial reservations, but what’s he hiding? He cooks a mean moussaka but I suspect he has a secret or two up his sleeve. He seems very interested in young Veej for some reason.
Ruby (-Casey) + Morag + the city = a barrel of laughs. She’s out on her own in the big smoke, well, almost on her own. She’s living with Morag in the city and living it up, doing her best to forget about Charlie and move on. Moving on included dumping Casey when he went to visit. She couldn’t even look at him, the poor cratur.
But one heart to heart from Morag and all that changed, she returned to the bay and moved back in with Leah. Morag reckons she needs to sort her head out before she moves on with her life.
Boozed up Brax is hitting rock bottom. He has been given the run around by the new criminal overlord Geoffrey and was made a fool of by trying to tip the cops off about his booze stash. For his next trick, he tried to burn down Angelo’s only for Leah to stop him at the last moment. She subsequently brought him home and watched him puke everywhere. Could have been worse I suppose, he could have chucked up on her like she did on Roman.
