Darcy wants to spend her holidays with Heath so he is looking for a bigger gaff, he needs the space to put up both his children. Phoebe is unimpressed by Darcy’s ways, playing her guitar without permission. She wants to live with Kyle but not all of the brothers and children. Phoebe thinks that it would make more sense if they moved out and left the flat to the Braxton bros, which is fine but she neglected to tell Kyle about her decision.
John and Marilyn’s bus tours made a reappearance after a few months. While Marilyn was giving her commentary she spied Josh and Evelyn pashing at the bus stop. She wanted to tell Maddie but John told her to hold off. Instead of that they sat Josh down and told him to do the right thing by Maddie. Josh decided to go back to Evelyn and tell her he’s going to give it another try with Maddy so no more friendship for them either. Tough choice for him, moaner A or moaner B.
It was great to see a bit of equine action in the Bay, we haven’t had that in a while. It reminded me of when Kip Gamblin was in his pomp, galloping up and down the beach after Dani.
Matt is broke and is trying to get a job. He offered to do a free shift for Angelo’s and earned himself 50 dollars for his trouble but Kyle can’t afford to keep him on which is a problem as he already told Sasha he had a job and she was dead impressed with his get up and go. When he went to tell her about his lack of job, she cut him off before he could tell her, in typical Summer Bay style. Next episode she’ll find out the truth and go mad at him for not saying earlier. The episode closed with them about to get it on in the Diner when Irene came in and sprung them, caught rapid.
