John was simultaneously accommodating Harvey and avoiding Roo’s questions; until she barged up to his house and told her husband to leave the Bay and leave everyone in peace. Good advice.
Sasha’s run for school captain got off to a bad start; Matt and the other students drowned out her speech by chanting Tamara’s name instead. Not since the days of Kirsty and Jade have students been so passionate about school politics.
Denny was about to leave the Bay when Evelyn demanded a tete-a-tete. They’ll be devoted sisters before you can say “strike me flamin’ handsome”.
Da Braxton’s on the scene. In an amazing coincidence, while Casey was talking to the school counsellor, Heath was visiting their father in jail, despite not having seen him in 12 years. Never mind Kirstie and Jade, the Braxton boys must have some kind of psychic connection.
Da Braxton is a gruff Sean-Connery look-a-like. Heath has High Hayley checking out his father’s legal records, in the hope that a release might be on the cards. Brax and Casey were delighted when Da went to jail, but Heath is more stupid and so sees him in a more favourable light.
Isn’t it a bit mad that all the Braxtons call Darryl, Brax?
What do you foresee for Da Braxton? I think he’ll have a dalliance with Marilyn, and a showdown with Alf (who is on his way to the Bay, yahoo!). Whatever happens, I’d say he and his amazing moustache are in for some good storylines.
In other news, Hayley is running around looking for Liam, and Leah’s not impressed. She asked Brax to help sort it out.
Ruby is going full steam ahead with the surf shop plans, despite warnings from Romeo, Leah and Indi.
Liam’s jam/biro scars seemed to clear up between the first scene and the car auction. He got a bit of a land when Bianca tried to get him to buy a family car for when they start a family in the future.Liam isn’t ready to put his rock star past behind and bought another bike, much to Bianca’s chagrin.
April is organising a list of potential take it to the next level dudes. She met a bloke called Jonathan at the auction, who asked her to go to the formal with him. Could he be the one? Apparently not, she told him she’s not ready to move on from Dex yet. It’s between Xavier and Heath at the minute. Bianca is not impressed with her hanging around with Heath. Given how she’s going through a rebellious phase I fear she’ll opt for the bad boy. This good girl gone bad storyline reminds me of when Jade went off the rails and organised a sit in.
Marilyn organised a girly lunch for Irene with Colleen and Roo. Irene thanked the girls for standing by her during her cancer trials. What did she expect them to say, “I hear you’re sick so stay out of our way until you’re better”? They decided to invoke the dart arts by doing a tarot card reading. Unsurprisingly it predicted that somebody will die. Who could it be? Colleen lost the plot and Irene looked worried, so worried that she decided to make a will.
