Drop the bomb

Casey is struggling to adjust after Brax dropped the Barrett bombshell. He didn’t want to discuss it with Brax, he just walked off for a mope in the gym on his own. Andy told Casey he quit the gym job, then told Josh to stay away from his long lost bro. Brax came into the gym to confront Casey and they went for a drink in Angelo’s. Casey lost it when he found out that everyone in the Bay knew about his parentage before he did and the restaurant descended into a mass brawl, it was like a scene from Roadhouse.

Sasha met Matt at the diner and told him that she’s leaving the bay for a while. She’s off to visit Sid and Indi in Broken Hill. She gave Matt a pep talk about his future but he has no plans, just hanging around, waiting to see if a job lands in his lap.

Phoebe is trying to get Kyle to sack her. Why doesn’t she just quit? Very strange behaviour. It worked in the end, kind of, she quit at the same time as he fired her so they both got what they wanted.

Wedding mayhem

Everyone loves a wedding, except the bride in this case:

Dex and April's wedding

Nothing was going quite right on the day. The cake was wrong, golf themed instead of wedding, Dex’s shirt got ruined and the flowers didn’t arrive. But it didn’t matter as the couple were so in love and nothing else mattered. Or so we thought.

April had last minute panic as poor Dex was left at the altar. Will Bianca and Tamara be able to persuade her that it’s all ok? Will she leg it to Paris on her own leaving him stranded with no wife and no career? April would want to watch it, if she gets to stressed she might regret it.

Dramatic deficit

Once you get used to kidnappings, death threats and murder attempts it’s pretty hard to get used to quiet nights in with a pizza and a movie. This is the problem facing Casey and Tamara. They had a chat about their situation and discussed their scenario.  How will they get over the lack of drama? Maybe they should invent a stalker or an assassin to put a bit of spark back into their relationship.

I’m a bit worried about Jett’s diet, it seems to consist solely of chip sandwiches and pizza, that can’t be too healthy for a growing boy. Nina was hiding out in his place but John found them and he told her parents. He was due to bring her back to boarding school but he fell asleep and the kids were gone when he woke up, they’ve done a runner.

April and Dex are heading to Paris. She’s got a place in the “University of Paris” and they’re going to move over together. Once they go and Indi leaves on her travels it will mean Sasha is the only Walker left in the bay, she’ll be oh so lonely.

Hitting the books

Heath is having problems studying. Casey shamed him into doing a bit of work and he managed to pass his first module. Tamara discussed his eduction with her fella and he has made a big life decision, he’s going to study for his HSE, again. I’ve lost count of the number of times he’s tried, let’s hope it goes better this time. The Braxtons are all getting educated, maybe Brax will study computer science while he’s doing time.

Jett is missing Nina and wants to enrol in her posh school. John is against the idea as he can’t afford the fees and doesn’t want to disrupt Jett’s schooling. John and Marilyn are romancing each other, which cheers Jett up no end.

Still no sign of the missing Winston and Banger but Roo is no widow according to herself. Everybody is walking on eggshells around her and it’s driving her mad.

Romeo is gone and Indi needs time to say goodbye to him, which is bad news for Chris. She had a dream of being on the beach and ghost Romeo turned up to see her. It’s a recurring dream and she thinks she’ll have to leave the Bay so that she can leave her dead husband behind.

Brother Hubbard cafe on Dublin’s Capel Street had a tip war based on Aussie soaps today, I think we all know which option won there.
