Indi and Romeo are absolute disgraces. They briefly spoke about ending their marriage, then went off pashing/next-level-ing with other people. I am glad they were so invested in their marriage that they could abandon it at the drop of a hat. TUT TUT.

Ruby declared her love for Romeo, but luckily he was too locked to hear her.

Dr. Sid made a great growling noise when he met Logan.

Gina got to the bottom of the Henri-Casey alliance, with the help of Veej. Henri is so stupid. Could she not have waited two months until Casey’s exams were over? She could hardly have expected him to have any sense, he’s a River Relative!

New beginnings

Roo has realised that Harvey may not be perfect but he’s the right man for her. She’s made her peace with his secret family and wants to meet his ex and daughter Lottie. They went on a picnic with a hamper and Lottie asked them many awkward questions. Then they went to the diner and Harvey tried to buy off his daughter with an iPhone 4.

The Lottie actress is Indi’s real life sister and had a similar acting style and delivery. I wonder if her outfits will be as interesting as her sister’s?

Heath attempted to use logic on Bianca. He said everything is wrong with her marriage to Liam, even the fact that the baby is Heath’s. Then he put the moves on her but she legged it. Liam suggested they leave town and go on the road, leaving their jobs and everything behind. He’s a practical man. Liam quit his job and Bianca is going along with life on the road.

Poor Dex is wallowing in his single status. None of the nurses he works with want to date him so he’s spending his days playing chess with Sid. His dad offered to go halves with him on a car as Dex reckons a set of wheels is the key to babes. How will Dex get his side of the money? His get rich quick scheme to raise cash involves challenging the diner patrons to chess for money. It’s a novel approach. e’s like a pool hustler with a chess set. He beat John Palmer and Marilyn but the latter didn’t present much of a challenge. Then young Lottie showed him how it’s done in a Kasparov vs Deep Blue moment. Poor Dex was schooled and lost all of his winnings. He’s back to the drawing board with making money but has made a new geeky friend.

Bad boy makeover

Dex found two college mates who gave him girlfriend advice when they saw April’s name on his copy. They said he didn’t have a chance of getting her back due to his nice guy image. He needed their help in the form of a bad boy makeover. They all went to the bar for shots and lessons in being elusive. Can’t see it ending well. If this works, April is a simpleton. Maybe he’ll take it to heart and join the river boys.

Poor Felix is a desperate actor. Fair play to Sasha, she didn’t desert her brother or forget about him, unlike Xavier and Brendan. Her plan to live with Felix in the city didn’t work out and she came back to the farm.

Henri is going to take a job at the school, but has a lot to consider, not least her affair with Casey. I can see the doo-doo hitting the fan before long. Casey has very bad timing with his text messages. They’ll have to take a break until after his exams. Casey will go off the rails before long I’d say. Maybe he’ll threaten to leave school again.

Timotei ad redux

Haha Dex loves April and sees her as some kind of hair-tossing goddess. He was eyeing her up at Sasha’s 16th birthday party. Aww cute.

Sasha thought, now that she’s 16, she could take off to the Citee, and become a hairdresser, with Felix in tow. Sid put her straight. So she snuck out after dark.

Romeo and Indi are boring and possibly breaking up.

Brax’s intimidation of Steve got Ruby off the drug charge. So Morag’s off. I would like a Morag and Brax spin-off crimefighting show – “she’s above the law, he’s below it, together they are…”.

A tangled web

Well, Liam found out that Heath knows about the baby, so he’s mad at Bianca, and so Bianca’s mad at April and never wants to see her again. However, Liam knew Bianca had slept with Heath when he married her, so he should just effin’ get over it. They could have one of these new-fangled families, with multiple daddies, one of whom slept with Bianca and her sister. They could have awkward Christmasses and Anzac Days from here to eternity. Plus, why are they all still living with Irene? Maybe Heath and Darcy could move in and complete the set.

Ma Stu admitted to poisoning Da Stu. She’s not a bad egg. She told Sid where the book of shame was, and he went to her very badly secured house and got it. Drama over for Sasha. Will she still go to trial or what?

So Sasha’s break-in didn’t go off as planned. In fact, she drew Ma Stu’s attention to the incriminating inscription. Duh.

Ma Stu is poisoning Da Stu, on account of him being a basher. Now Dr. Sid knows, and reported her to Watson and her boys in blue. Oooh Ma Stu.

Indi and Romeo have made up despite their dalliances (or not) with the opposite sex. They admitted to each that their marriage was a mistake. Double Duh.

In real-life news, I am getting a “Let’s die for love, you go first” tattoo.

Stu’s mum isn’t a big fan of Sid. She’s blaming him for the fact that her fella came into the hospital with heart trouble. The above quote was how she thanked him for saving his life.

Sid recomended to Indi that she talk to Romeo before jumping to any conculusions.Silly Sid, where did logic ever get anybody?

Indi and Romeo had a good diner based showdown followed by a blue on the beach. She doesn’t trust him even though he insists nothing happened. Romeo should really steer clear of Ruby for a while, even though he is innocent of what she claims he did.

Sasha and Xavier were worried about her impending murder trial. She left an incriminating note in Stu’s gaff and wanted to break in and get it. Even Xavier knew that a stupid idea and told her so. Silly Sasha went anyway and broke in when nobody answered the door, then hid under the bed when Ma Stu returned. Unsurprisingly, she got caught red handed trying to sneak out. This won’t look well in court.

Sasha rebashed

Poor Sasha. She must have thought her bashee days were behind her, once she offed Stu. However, the young ladies of Summer Bay High had different ideas, and laid into her. One of them stupidly recorded it on their phone. Dex made her tell Sid, who immediately went into Angry Dad mode. Gina found out it was Kristie, and gave her the third degree. Kristie wears too much eyeliner and now is being expelled. Sasha can wear her fingerless gloves in peace.

Stu’s basher dad is in hospital. He had a heart attack, and Sid saved him. They’re best buds now, so Sid got his job back. Heart attacks must turn people sound.

Casey and Henri are flirting, which made me question: has any lucky lady scored the Braxton hat-trick? The younger brother Braxton was unimpressed when April told him that Henri and The Fool took it to the next level. Cue crap brotherly shoving on the beach.

Killer revealed

Who killed Stu? It was none other than his ex sheila, Sasha! She admitted it to Dr Sid, which is going to be a tough one for him. He was the prime suspect for the YCPD, now he knows how he can get out of line of fire but to do so, he’ll have to implicate his own flesh and blood. What a conundrum?

Romeo had a moment of clarity. His wife was on his case about getting a proper job but Romeo doesn’t react well to wearing a suit and hates engaging in business banter. After a quick chat with ex rockstar Liam, Romeo came up with a plan. He’s going to do what he loves and is good at, surfing professionally. I’m hoping it goes well for him but Indi didn’t look too impressed.

Roo pushed Harvey in the water, which convinced him to apologise for messing her around and offer her the old job back. She accepted, for the sake of the bay. I really hope that the two of them don’t end up back together. Harvey is a pain in the ass.

Karaoke night

In a strange move, the River Boys and the Rockstar held a karaoke night at Angelo’s. Every good singer in the cast did a number. Colleen sang too, but the show went to a break! I bet she sang “Gravel Pit”. One two, one two!

Bianca told April about the pregnancy, April told Heath, Heath asked Bianca if it was his. How pregnant is Bianca? I hope Sid does his inspection soon so we can find out.

SERGEANT Watson is after Xavier and Dexter for the Stu murder. Sasha is looking very worried.

Back on track

Ruby got a bit of a wake up call with her sweaty coma. She accepted Roo’s proposal to move out of the van and into the house, lowering its average age by about half. I’m hoping she gets her head sorted now.

April got pissed off when Heath cancelled a date on her. She was all dressed up in a fancy new black dress but didn’t have anywhere to go with it. Heath was off at Brax’s bashing contest even though he told April he had to work. Dex was there with Sid and made up with April, they’re all friends now.

Brax’s fight wasn’t quite Rocky IV. There was lots of talking between the belligerents, lots of crap punches and slaps. Regardless, the crowd were loving it. Brax had Heath and Elijah in his corner and Henri in the audience. The rev told Brax to tap out as he was fighting somebody from a heavier weight division, but Brax didn’t care, the man’s got a death wish. Then Leah turned up to tell Brax to quit it, and he subsequently got battered. I can see the headline in tomorrow’s coastal news – “Bruised beach bum Brax brutally bashed by bigger boy”.

Ruby + drink = diabetic coma

Ah, that Ruby one has no sense. She had a falling out with Dex, and managed to drink herself into a sweaty coma. Hope she’s discovered before Flying Doctor Sid jets off.

Tyler the simpleton sold Mr. JP’s car. Now he and Casey have to try and get it back. Hassle.

John still hasn’t told Gina about his large and foolish investment. Dead man.

Roo-minations

So Roo has decided to join Harvey’s drive to give Summer Bay some daycent parkland. More fool her. John isn’t too impressed, especially since he put 400k into the development, not 100k as previously thought. Gina will have his guts for garters.

To add insult to injury, Casey’s klepto mate robbed John’s car. I bet Klepto was Casey’s prison-husband.

Ruby’s back on the sauce, but Dex is keeping an eye on her. She managed to seduce him with some kind of ape dance. Guess he and April really are over. *sob*

Irene got DVT from sitting on the couch for 3 days. She should have known the SummerBayTimeWarp works on illness too. Colleen came up with some hilarious acronyms for it: IUD, DVD, etc.

Doctor Sid wants to become Flying Doctor Sid. He probably used to watch it on telly, after A Country Practice.

Stu the Sasha Basha is dead. He hasn’t been seen since trying to get Sasha into his car. Shortly afterwards, she came home crying. Curious…

Of course angry doc Sid Walker is a suspect, having done some pre-death bashing of Stewart. Imagine if Rhys came back, and he and Sid formed an Angry Dads Alliance. The River Boys would be shaking in their boots.

Development Denis is in trouble as he moved Stu’s body from the resort to the caravan park. What an amazingly stupid (and sly) thing to do.

The paparazzi, sorry, I mean ONE paparazzo, is after Liam and Bianca. That’s pretty odd as Liam has been off the celebrity circuit for ages. Bianca is worried how this will affect the wedding, which, in true SB-time-warp-style, is tomorrow.

Harvey 2012

Ruby moved out of Leah’s and into the caravan park. How does she have any money? Maybe she’s getting Charlie’s pension. So far as I can see, she doesn’t work, she doesn’t go to college and she doesn’t go to school. She’ll need a career plan shortly.

Dex babysat for Dallas and nearly killed the young fella, who has a nut allergy. Doctor Sid sorted him out. Dallas was raging at first, but eventually copped that it wasn’t Dexter’s fault.

The election took place, and very surprisingly, Harvey won. No doubt he’ll be even more annoying now.

Henri’s here

There’s a new teach in town, to go with the new school. Turns out she’s an old flame of Heath’s and was quite the wild child in her schooldays. Henri (for that is her name) has already bonded with Bianca and hooned with Heath. April is not impressed. She engineered a study session around at the Braxeses, and showed up with the girls noticeably on show. Unfortunately Henri showed up before Heath was seduced.

Brax spent most of that episode drinking. Leah gave him a talking-to and basically said WWCD (what would Charlie do). She also moved a bottle of whiskey to the other end of the table, making it slightly more difficult for Brax to get battered. Good move. Brax came to his senses, invited Geoffrey over, did some panting, and told the gangsta he’d have to shoot him to get his hands on Angelo’s. And gave him a gun. Not such a good move.

Weirdly, Sasha got her da to tell Gina to tell Xavier to keep away. Something’s not right there. Also, Sasha is permanently wearing gloves.

Dex dilemma

What happened there? The short answer is not very much. Here are the bullet points:

Sid is struggling to cope with the fact that Dex doesn’t know what to do with his life and doesn’t want to follow in his footsteps but wants to be a nurse instead.
Irene collapsed in the hospital. She’s still feeling crook but it was only indigestion this time.
Xav admitted to Gina that he has the hots for Sash. He went for a pash on the beech but was knocked back. She promptly told him to keep his distance as she’s toxic.
Romeo hates his job working for Denis but is afraid to tell Indi. Turns out he’s decent at it despite himself and sold 5 apartments.
Harvey is causing havoc with the development and will do his best to block it if elected.

Hopefully tomorrow will be more interesting.

Cops 1, Doctors 0

The future of the Bay is in good hands; Officer Xavier will keep its streets clean. Xave is so hot-headed that criminals will cower in fear. He went mental when he heard Stu had yet again taken up his mantle as Sasha Basha.

The health of the Bay is in question, though; soon the Walker family could be doctorless. Sid is up on charges, and Dex wants to be an engineer.

I was happy to see Romeo in a suit. He’s no natural salesman, though, trying to close the deal by using his surfie skills.

Elijah’s been kicked out of Leah’s Home for Ragamuffins now that Ruby is back. She didn’t visit a hairdresser in The City.

What Sid did next

What do you do in small town Australia if you have a medical degree but no job? Hang around the diner in your track suit apparently. Then he went to the hospital and tried to take over Irene’s treatment. Maybe he should get a job as a pizza delivery boy for Angelo’s.

Irene has to take it handy now because of her heart problems. Do you think she’ll listen? I would imagine that she’ll be back in the diner in no time.

Heath and Dex had a bit of a face off in the surf club. That’s a fight I’d like to see but blink and you’d miss it. Dex had a bit of a heart to heart with April and told her that he hadn’t got it on with Dallas. There was hints of rapprochement there but then April met Heath on the beech and went back to his place for more sexiness. Then her conscience pricked her as she’d promised Bianca she’d stay away from him. Heath made do with his playstation, what age is he supposed to be?

So Brax and Casey went up the coast for a surf but where is Ruby gone? Did she go to the city on her own? She didn’t have any sort of going away do. Maybe she’s concentrating on her music career, recording a follow up single to “kisses hurt so much”.

Sid’s worst day ever

Poor Sid. There was a hostage situation in the hospital, nudey pics of his daughter were flying around by text, Sasha confronted Stu, got threatened by his da, Sid threatened to end the da, Sid got fired and later dumped.

The only people who had a worse day were Ruby and Brax.

If Brax has a thing for cops, he could approach Watson. Just sayin’.
