I see dead people
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010I hope the Diner does a coffee loyalty card because Myles has been lashing into it recently. But then again, it’s out of commission at the moment so he’s having to make do with home brew, and lots of it. All because Rabbit, his imaginary friend, has told him that he’ll die if he falls asleep. So he’s been up all night, talking to his dead daughter. And now he has to go into work, exhausted and scared. Scared of a premonition from a girl with a history of successfully predicting the future. It’s a bit funny that Miles, once the imaginary Milco, is now befriended by an imaginary friend of his own. What would Sally make of it all?
Sally’s off the market
Wednesday, September 9th, 2009Oh no lads, Sally’s getting hitched. Do you reckon this wedding will end up in a hospital, like her last one? I wonder will she invite “Mr. Stewart”?
I can’t believe she was “somewhere in Europe” and didn’t visit us.
Thanks to Emma for the tip-off!
I am Colleen Smart; I am a Bay identity
Wednesday, May 21st, 2008She’s off.
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008That’s that. Sally is no longer a Summer Bay resident; she left because, eh, because she lost her job I think. Feck’s sake, suck it up!
So, the Sam/Jack/Martha storyline is coming to a head next. Look at this clip on youtube – those Aussie previews are amazing. Sam is like something out of a horror film now – standing staring on the beach, saying "Hello Martha" in a really menacing voice. Creepy wagon.
Hankies at the ready
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008Back to the Bay have set up an admirable Sally tribute site.
So sit back and reminisce about Sally’s loves (many) and terrible injuries at the hands of crook folk (also many).
Those Aussies love Sally
Monday, May 5th, 2008She won most Most Popular Personality On TV and Most Popular Actress at the Logies. Geoff got Most Popular New Male Talent and Home and Away won Most Popular Australian Drama.
Spiritual in Summer Bay
Thursday, May 1st, 2008There have been a lot of religious references in Home and Away recently, between Annie and Geoff who are fairly hardcore, and Sally’s sojourn to Nirvana where she visited a picture of Flynn. Deadly. Not since the days of Saul have we seen so much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
What do you think, do you like the holy mentions, or could you do without them?
Vote over in our poll on the right!
Get a load of Sally while you can
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008I thought it worth mentioning that although we know Sally’s leaving soon, I don’t think any of us have pondered what this means. She will pass into the realm of "past characters". Enjoy her while you can.
Second best near death experience in the history of H&A
Thursday, March 27th, 2008A few questions arose from today’s episode:
- Why was Flynn doing an impression of the sacred heart with his holy light? I think that he was conspicuous by his absence. Maybe he’s not in heaven at all but was sent downstairs.
- How is it that Tom has continued to age even though he died around 15 years ago? He told Sally to tell Pippa that he’d be waiting for her. I wonder what Michael thinks of that. It’s all going to kick off when she arrives with a meatloaf in one hand and a basket of laundry in the other.
- Was Annie auditioning for Grease when she was playing pool in the surf club? Is she due to experience a crook and rebellious period like those of Jade, Matilda and Lucas?
