Poor Sid. There was a hostage situation in the hospital, nudey pics of his daughter were flying around by text, Sasha confronted Stu, got threatened by his da, Sid threatened to end the da, Sid got fired and later dumped.
The only people who had a worse day were Ruby and Brax.
If Brax has a thing for cops, he could approach Watson. Just sayin’.
So, Charlie is dead. Or more correctly, she’s braindead. It never stopped her doing her job before, but Dr. Sid is keen for Ruby to pull the plug. Maybe he’s anxious to have the room free for the next time Xavier gets injured.
Brax and Jake had a fight/chase, which ended in Jake being taken away by the cops. He’s not too clever, old Jake; he’s going straight back into the slammer. Maybe he likes it.
Ruby is coming around to the idea of turning off Charlie’s machines. Brax is not so happy with it. I foresee a massive outburst of rage.
There is one thing that the good Doctor Walker hasn’t tried, though. Why not get all the River Boys around to the hospital and have them take off their tops? If anything could revive a braindead woman, that’d be it.
There’s a new cop. He seems useless. He gave Sid a good talking-to when he was leaving the cells.
Stu’s dad showed up in the hospital. Turns out he is fairly scobey. Not surprising really.
Elijah is doing a LOT of hanging around the Patterson-Bakers. What about his job?
Brax wants to leave town, so Heath set him up with a local mobster, who handily has a wife, a daughter, and a nephew in tow! Brax retracted the offer but I think we’ll seeing more of this crew.
Dexter and Ruby are going to the formal together, just as pals. Good spying-on-April opportunity for Dex.
Leah and Miles are no more. Both of them are pretty sad about it. Elijah is ALREADY sniffing around Leah, so Marilyn warned him off.
Marilyn also advised Dexter to apologise to April. He did so while wearing the worst suit of all time. Not only that, but April told him to get bent. She’s still annoyed with him, so she’s devised a plan to seduce some randomer at the formal. She confided in Ruby, who, unsurprisingly, thought it was a great idea.
Bianca is trying to keep Liam away from Brax, as the Rock Star still doesn’t know the truth about the accident. She won’t have to worry for too much longer, as Charlie and Brax are conspiring to leave town. Brax can’t stay around and resist The Boys.
Was what Dex was saying, well almost. It was more the reaction he got in the diner that he liked rather than the actual kiss itself. Needless to say, April didn’t like it. It’ll take some time for things to get back to normal with them, if ever.
Harvey is blackmailing John Palmer over receiving gifts as a councillor. He said he’d drop it if Roo got back with him. What is it with ex boyfriends trying to blackmail their ex girlfriends recently between him and Stu?
Indi started her internship which involved buying coffee for Dennis and posing in her bikini. She’s clearly headed for the top of the business world. Romeo was none too pleased when he found out and tried to lay down the law, expecting her to be the obedient wife but she was having none of it. Not really turning out to be wedded bliss for the newlyweds.
Mink is back, great news. She was a right royal pain in the hole the first time round, doubt anything’s changed there.
Ruby was having yet another bad hair day. What the hell Roobs?
Ruby is all stressed out as she’s mid exams and her fella is banged up in the big house. Then Brax got arrested and that made her feel worse. Â Xavier tried to make her feel better by telling her that it’s nearly time for schoolies. Â That makes everything alright I suppose. You can’t beat schoolies.
April was having one of  her bad fashion sense days today. Good to see she’s over her drug addiction, she seems back to normal now. Is Gina getting a caffeine addiction? Luckily there’s a tai chi crase sweeping the Bay and she’s using that as a substitute for the coffee.
Brax is in deep do-do over the petrol station robbery. It seems one of Jake’s boys, Benji, was trying to set him up with a planted apple core.  Brax used his criminal genius to figure it out and sort it. Problem solved, no thanks to Casey’s solicitor, Hayley, who dropped him in it, refusing to back up his alibi.  That one is going to be trouble, I can tell. Brax knows that now too, Charlie told him that she’s working for Jake. But Charlie’s been taken off the case so Brax will have to make do on his own. Constable Watson is going to do her best to take him down, which should be easier now that she doesn’t have Charlie around, messing things up.
Aww poor Casey, the best of the Braxtons, is off to Juvie for the grand total of…30 days! As we know, 30 days is a long time in the Bay. Xavier will probably have suffered four more injuries when Casey’s released. Ruby will definitely have met a new beau. Charlie will be back from wherever she is. Irene will be wearing makeup again. In short, the face of Summer Bay will have changed forever.
How will Casey cope with being an ex-con? I reckon he’ll be hardened up on the Inside, and once released, will have no interest in study or the HSC. He’ll probably fight off Ruby’s probable posse of suitors and pimp her out. Hopefully he’ll fix her hair too.
