Well Hugo is back big-stylee now. Martha took him straight back into her arms without a word about his people-smuggling. At least Gina gave him a dressing-down for being a massive criminal.
The Austins are surprisingly adept at fobbing off the bobbies. Love how Xavier said “It’s the cops” when Angelo and Charlie came to the door, as if he’d never met them before. Anyway Gina cranked up her headmistress skills and YCPD were slinking out with their tails between their legs.
Gina was nice to Miles, though, even if she was delivering the bad news that he might not get his job back at the school. Bet he doesn’t think Rabbit was so deadly now.
Apparently Aden has left. I totally missed that; I must have been making a cup of tea or something. The exits are very swift these days. Nicole is totally over it though, Liam Murphy sorted her out with some bonza advice. By the by, they now have a ping-pong table in the caravan park. Bounce.

What a dramatic few days in Summer Bay. Rabbit helped Miles rescue Leah, Elijah, and a rake of kids from being gassed on their school trip. Somehow this meant that it was time for Rabbit to leave. So she headed off with her ma down the beach. Poor Miles was in bits over it. There was no explanation of Rabbit’s psychic powers though. I think we should put this in the Alf-as-aborigine box and accept we’ll never know the answer.
Nicole, being egged on by Justin, broke up with Aden as he wouldn’t say he loved her. So he went off into the wide blue yonder with Justin. No doubt he’ll join the army too.
Hugo’s back. Martha decided everyone should know that he is in witness protection so she told Xavier and then went down the diner to tell everyone else. She did it in the same room as Colleen; she must have the memory of a goldfish. Anyway then Xavier told Ruby, and later met Hugo on a random road in the Bay. Hugo was sporting some fine stubble and hiding under a hat. The bad guys will never look there.

I flippin’ knew Ruby was going to ruin the play. The little eejit. Luckily Sir Liam of Murphy stepped in and saved the day. Ruby did alright considering originally she proclaimed “I can’t sing”. Might there be a singing career in the pipeline?
Miles was extra mad in that episode. He wanted to keep a seat at the play for Rabbit (bet she didn’t pay though, it’s one of the perks of being imaginary), then he suddenly went home and banished her from the house. Now he wants her to come back. Ahhhhh.
Leah knows about the Milco madness now anyway. She tried to get it out of Elijah by repeatedly saying his name, but Miles charged in and gave the game away himself. Cue frowny face from Leah until this is sorted out.
Annie left. Hurrah hurrah. “When are you leaving”, said Romeo. “Tomorrow morning”, said Annie. Those Campbells don’t wait around. Sure Geoff went off to “Africa” within a day of making his decision to leave. Anyway Romeo is pretty cut up about it, but Annie doesn’t seem to care. I bet she’s really into J-pop and that’s why she’s off. She did get Romeo to tell her his real name though. What do you think it is?

Marilyn had a good chat with Doctor Rachel and told her that she’s dying. The poor woman has had a rough trot as Alf would say, what with her son dying and having cancer. She told Miles that she has less than a year to live. She must have returned to the bay to live out her last days.
Miles has his own demons/rabbits to deal with. He isn’t in favour of taking the medication or telling the doctor that Rabbit is still around. I think she’s here for the long haul. Maybe somebody should build her a hutch out the back of the caravan park.

Ah here. H&A is way too sad these days. First was the whole Miles/Rabbit scenario, and now today Leah and VJ visited Vinnie’s grave to say goodbye. That’s enough sadness now, I thought.
Elijah didn’t think so, though. He threw in a tragic story about his dad dying on a fishing trip. I’m not able for this.
Aden’s stupid brother had a flashback and now thinks he killed their da. It looks to me like the dad was drink-driving and had a crash. If only they hadn’t buried him, they’d be ok with the cops.
Romeo set up a romantic date with Annie in the gym. Possibly inspired by Ruby’s seduction of Geoff using fairy lights, he lit a load of candles. The Campbells are suckers for small light sources.

The drugs don’t work, apparently. Miles was given some psycho drugs which were supposed to stop his delusional visions of Rabbit. At first it seemed to be working as there were no sign of her, which caused Miles much consternation. He was running around the house like a mad yoke, looking for her. But then he went down to the beach and found her there which is a bit odd. Does that mean that she’s supernatural rather than a figment of Miles’s imagination? Ghost or illusion?

Poor, poor Miles. He doesn’t know what’s going on with Rabbit. Is she a ghost, an angel, or just a mentalism that he dreamed up himself? In any case, it looks like the braindoctor will put him right. About time too, as Rabbit is upping the annoying levels very quickly.
Yahoo, Xavier is going to find out Hugo’s alive and all hell will break loose. I can’t wait.
I wonder if the H&A cast had a good time at Punchestown?

AT LAST Marilyn and Alf confronted Miles about his mad behaviour. He admitted to seeing Rabbit but denied she was a figment of his imagination. He reckons she’s real and is some class of ghost. He’s turned into a proper basket case now though. So the intrepid twosome called in some backup in the form of Rachel. She wants to medicate Miles but he’s having none of that.
I love these crazy storylines. At the beginning Miles was a solo madser, but then Marilyn dreamed of Rabbit and Byron, so maybe Rabbit is a ghost oooooh.
Alf, of course, is no stranger to hallucinations and visions. He advised Miles that it might be a brain tumour. Thanks Alf. Just because you turned into an Aborigine and then into your own sister on account of a dicky noggin, doesn’t mean Miles has. I hope Rabbit starts haunting other people too. Maybe she could attend Summer Bay High.

Poor Elijah got an earful from Colleen when he visited the Diner. She decided to ask his advice about her Marilyn doubts but used aliases to protect the innocent and guilty. Colleen told him of her friend “Collette” who knew a floozy called “Sharilyn”. Collette was the only one who wasn’t taken in by Sharilyn. Collette recognised that she didn’t care whose life she ruined and whose heart she broke. Elijah suggested Collette ask herself “what would Jesus do?” Colleen recognised that Jusus was kind to Mary Magdalene but she “had given up her life of debauchery, I doubt that’s the case with Sharilyn”.
Classic Colleen.
Plus, Marilyn was visited by Rabbit in a dream. Rabbit introduced her to Dead Byron, who didn’t look like Flathead at all. Rabbit also led Marilyn to Miles, who was mid-graffiti. How will Marilyn break the news that he’s a nutter?

The graffiti artist aka Rabbit aka Mad Miles is still at large, and the caravan park residents are threatening to take the law into their own hands. Personally, I’d like to see that. Colleen would look the part in camouflage gear and black face paint.
Not content with painting the Bay, Miles is causing more havoc by throwing Elijah and Leah together. He used the old invite-them-both-to-dinner-then-lock-them-in-a-caravan-but-pretend-it-was-your-imaginary-friend trick. What high jinx! I bet Elijah’s secret is that he’s never “taken it to the next level”. He’s in the right spot for that, so.
Liam Murphy is sporting a very strange beard. It’s like he was run over by the world’s smallest lawnmower. Maybe it’s to complement his very strange housemate.
Charlie phoned Leah’s psychologist to make an appointment. Do you reckon in Australia, psychologists are called psychos?
