Selina arrived in the bay with a bad attitude and a bad mother. She ditched them both and changed her ways to become a shining light of goodness by the time she left. She moved in with Irene and liked it so much that she even adopted her name.

Selina met a boy called Jesse. He was a bit of a bad boy but that wasn’t a problem for Selina. Selina was a great one for leading fellas up the stairs by the hand in Irene’s house which usually meant that they were about to take it to the next level. That happened quite a few times. She pioneered that move but many others have taken up that torch since then, including Gypsy, Martha and Nicole.

As well as dating Jessie, she also went out with Jack Wilson. Jack, like Selina, was a bit of a tearaway but had a good heart, don’t they all? Selina also had a fling with Damian, Irene’s son, which led to a teen pregnancy. She miscarried in the school which was pretty traumatic event for her.

She had many advertures during her time in the bay, which included joining a cult led by Saul. Saul had a powerful effect on Selina and became a bit obsessed with her. She overcame his brainwashing after her friends intervened but that wasn’t enough for Saul and he kidnapped her not once, not twice but three times. Persistance sometimes pays off but not in this case, he got shot to bits by the cops.

Selina had a thing for Stephen Matheson, one of the original cast members who made a return as an adult. This would have been fine except for the fact that he was Selina’s teacher. The broke off their illicit affair and he left town but she still harboured feelings for him when she was going out with Jesse. When she bumped into Stevo again, she couldn’t deny her feelings for him. They agreed to get married and managed to go through with it at the second attempt, the first was a non-starter what with all the kidnapping and shooting. The course of true love never did run smooth.

Cop killer

I had suspected that Charlie might go out with a bang but that wasn’t what I was expecting. Who the hell was that? Was it Jake’s brother? Poor Charlie, 2 bullets to the chest, no way she could survive that in the real world . If only there were an amazing surgeon-pediatrician-MD-psychiatrist-nurse-ambo around to perform a life saving operation. Unfortunately for Charlie, the only one of those is banged up for bashing Stew.

Ever since Nicole left town, there’s been an absence of promiscuity. Maybe April is auditioning for the new Nicole. She’s following in a long line of good girls gone bad stretching back to Selina via Martha and Nicole along the way. April was going to do her best to take it to the next level and it didn’t matter who it was with, even her sister’s ex. She and Heath went straight from level zero to all the way. She was thrilled when she woke up next to him the following morning. Seeing him hop out the window made me nostalgic for the glory days of Belle and Aden. Bianca is going to flip when she finds out, that would be a mighty bombshell to blow up on her wedding day.

Could Romeo’s business be back on track? Harvey is trying to make amends for his earlier mistakes and pay Romeo back for saving his life. Alf can see that it makes sense as a business idea, but Romeo seems more circumspect. I reckon Harvey’s near death experience has made him turn over a new leaf. If Roo agrees to a date then we’ll know for sure that he’s on the straight and narrow as she always seems to have good judgment.

Sid gave Sasha the mother of all bollockings. She was, as he said irresponsible, but it seemed she felt bad enough about it already so maybe Sid could have timed things better. Dex and Indi were really helpful and friendly when little Felix was brought home from the hospital. It’s about time Sasha got the chip off her shoulder and started to appreciate the effort all of the Walkers are making for her and Felix. Sasha lost it with Sid when he couldn’t convince Felix’s dad to part with his son after a five-minute chat which was a bit unfair on poor Sid.

The diner is all changed now. Roo & Marilyn are running it while Leah and Irene are off work. Roo put her neck on the line for Sasha in the diner. I hope that she doesn’t live to regret it. Roo has a habit of adopting a younger protege, see Nicole and Indi in the past. Is there anything that Roo can’t do?

Travesty

There were so many things wrong with Indi and Romeo’s decision to get married. The very worst thing of all, though, was that they did it without Dexter. Very feckin’ mean. They convinced Sid to go along with it in about thirty seconds.

Some other observations:

Romeo’s outfit was like a ninja’s.
Roo’s dress was like a tent.
Sid obviously liked it.
Roo is a woman of principle.

Perhaps Indi and Romeo could go and live in marital bliss in Nicole’s disused house.

Girlfriend for hire

Dexter has devised a cunning plan.Â In order to make April jealous, he’s hired Kate to hang around the surf club with him, acting like his girlfriend. In exchange for these services, Kate will receive biology grinds from devious Dex.Â But she’s no dopey dupe, she’s onto him.Â Has Dexter met his match?

Marilyn got to say her goodbye with George and Nicole in the city. Very touching indeed. Sid wasn’t too impressed.Â I give it a week or two before the two of them break up, but maybe there’ll be a bit more flirtation between Sid and Roo. Sid and Marilyn always seemed a strange pairing and Sid wasn’t too pushed on the adoption idea. Maybe it’s for the best if they call it quits.

Drugboat

In a very unsurprising turn of events, the River Boys were found with a load of dope on the boat. Unfortunately, Captain Romeo got dragged into it too. Morag was raging. She wanted to fire Romeo, but Roo came to his rescue, saying she’d be his mentor. Celebrity Apprentice Down Unda or what?

Marilyn misses George; she went over to Miles’ looking for his new address. Miles said no, due to her history of nicking sprogs. Anyway, Nicole rang shortly afterwards. Probably looking for tips on how to raise a baby.

Farewell Nicole & Angelo

I’ll miss Nicole and Angelo. Don’t think I can say the same for baby George as I haven’t had as much time to get to know him. They had some good storylines in fairness. What about the time Nicole trying it on with holy Geoff? Who can forget the time that Angelo shot his colleague Jack? How we laughed.

The bay will be a duller place without them. At least we have Marilyn to keep us amused. Child kidnapping isn’t a bad way to keep the town talking. Luckily for her, Nic isn’t pressing charges so she got away with that one.

Is Roo some kind of world class problem solver? She’s a one woman A-team. She defused the kidnapping situation and made sure George got back to Nicole in one piece. I wonder if part of her wouldn’t have minded to see Marilyn locked up, leaving a clear path to Sid. Given her mental state and all of the flirtatious texting going on, I think the doctor would be on for that scenario too.

So, Marilyn has absconded with George. I can’t believe Doctor Sid wasn’t keeping a closer eye on them. Cue mega-moany face from Nicole.

Nicole and Angelo aren’t leaving a forwarding address. That’s a nice how-do-you-do after all the support they got in Summer Bay. I hope they at least bring the child to visit Roman in prison. Could he be the Bay’s youngest granda?

Why doesn’t Nicole live in her own house? You’d imagine it would be perfect for a newborn.

Poor Marilyn!

Poor, poor Marilyn; Nicole wants her baby back. She came to this conclusion after Penn’s great-grandfather showed up and praised her mammying skills. Random. Marilyn was naturally absolutely devastated, but Sid just looked mildly irritated. He was probably thinking, “that’s grand, I can run off with Roo now”.

I love how Angelo is all on board for taking on George. Has he ever even held him? Never mind that he’s only with Nicole three weeks.

The Braxeses are in trouble now. Angelo set up a state-of-the-art CCTV system in his struggling restaurant. Now he knows that they set him up to be attacked, and that Charlie and Brax are an item. Charlie broke up with Brax over it, so he might go off the rails and start smashing stuff/people.

Romeo has a burny one, and Sid has a wandering one. That’s why he’s so mad at young Smith, he reckons Romeo’s a philanderer, just like him. The doctor was fairly eyeing up Roo when she visited Angelo at the hospital.

Anyway the STD thing is sorted now. Romeo is treating it, and Indy is disease-free. I bet Ruby’s not though.

Roo’s friend Nora turned up in the Bay. Roo did something bold but it looks like Nora forgives her. All will be revealed.

Nicole wants her baby back, unsurprisingly. Does this mean poor Marilyn is going to lose Sid and George too? Sad.

Angelo goes awol

Where’s Angelo?Â The river boys knocked him out yesterday and now he’s come a cropper.Â They buried his wallet and phone and took his body away, we don’t even know if he’s dead or alive.Â Come back Angelo, Nicole needs you!

I think Charlie is trying to win an award. She must be a shoe in for “gullible Australian of the year”.Â Angelo phoned her to tell her about the hash crop and she finds the river boys near by.Â Then Brax sweet talked her out of arresting his brother Heath.Â Now she believes him and will act as his alibi.Â She is a dope.Â It was obvious before but now it’s clear as day.Â This is a new low in the shameful history of YCPD.Â Take a bow Charlie, take a bow.

Nicangelo up a tree

Ooh ex-Sergeant Risotto and babymama Nicole are an item now, and a steamy item at that! But Angelo followed Heath to a marijuana farm, rang Charlie for backup, (she was too busy taking it to the next level) then got caught by Heath. Will he ever return to his new love? Eek!

Marilyn is worried Nicole is getting too close to George the baby. She could have a point.

Liam is having a lot of “reactions” to “wine”. Bianca caught him out though. Did you know, when you’re on drugs, you have to sniff loudly all the time?

YCPD call for back up

After the surf carnival, things got a bit out of control. The River boys were pissed as they left the carnival. Charlie got hit with a bottle and didn’t know who did it. This made Charlie even more confused than usual. She decided to call in the big guns, that’s right it’s ~~FITZY~~ Wilson!!!

~~Making a long awaited return to the bay after her maternity leave, she is going to sort this bother out quick smart~~. Sherlock Holmes has nothing on ~~Fitzy~~ Wilson. Charlie will find it hard to protect Ruby and her River boy boyfriend now.

In other news, Nicole breastfed George even though there were bottles of milk nearby. Colour Marilyn unimpressed.

The River Dicks brought Angelo hunting then pretended they were going to shoot him. Basically trying to frighten the bejesus out of him. Meanies.

Wow you would never think Nicole had just been pregnant in her purple get-up. She and Indy lorried the makeup onto themselves and headed to Yabbie Creek to see a band. There must be one gig per night in YC, because Stalky Kieran was there too – Indy said she was going in order to get out of a date with him. He’s a hard man to put off.

Nicole was absolutely bolubas after two drinks, so Kieran took the laydeez home. They didn’t even see the band; what a waste of a dress. He wanted to show Indy some “scenery” but she was wise to him and roared till he stopped the car. Phew.

Charlie is pretending to go on Internet dates in order to stop Ruby driving her mental. Snoooooze.

Poor Nicole was getting fairly fed up with being overdue, so Angelo asked his mama for the Risotto family tips. She suggested a quick ride, but it turned out some heavy flirting on the beach did the trick. The baby is coming at warp speed, too. Marilyn won’t like that.

I was expecting more drama on the junkie cruise, but the cops just arrested Billy when he disembarked. Maybe he was too scared when Morag said she could summon fish from the sea.

Ship to shore

Given the way Marilyn was smothering Nicole she must have felt like saying “I’m on maternity, get me out of here!” She had enough of Marilyn’s schedule and girl’s day in, it was all getting too much. So when Angelo called over to see how she was doing, she took the opportunity to bail. Out of there like she stole something.

The two mates went down to the pier to see Romeo cleaning Alf’s boat. They begged the young layabout to let them on board and take the Blaxland out for a cruise. He relented, theft of property is no big deal when you have an ex YCPD Sergeant on board.

Angelo suggested Romeo start taking the boat out for charter cruises, like Hugo used to do. Maybe Romeo will get into people smuggling too. It would probably be more profitable that his surf school which isn’t going too well so far. He didn’t seem too impressed when the redhead boy turned up for his first lesson. IS he trying to say redheads can’t surf?

Marilyn, it turns out has rubbish taste in music.Â Dr Sid, on the other hand, has way more street cred with his tunes.Â He name checked Soundgarden, Nirvana and Pearl Jam.Â The two of them seem to be drifting apart now.Â I can see a lot of problems ahead.Â Marilyn is getting very paranoid especially about Sid getting close to Roo.

How long before Angelo and Nicole start getting it on?Â I hope something happens there, they are both sound. No doubt it will after the way she was groping him while applying fake tan.

Charlie is still living in easy street. It took all of 5 minutes for her to drop her guard and take it to the next level with Brax. Then she criticised Ruby for going out with somebody who’s wrong for her.Â Maybe Charlie needs to take a bit of her own medicine.
