It was parties a-go-go in Summer Bay in that episode. Mr. JP was 50 and having a posh pizza dinner in Angelo’s with every local over 30. Gina was looking lovely. Harvey gatecrashed, Sid scowled, Leah moped, Miles drank and Romeo and Indi (under 30 but there anyway) crept off to consummate their marriage once again.

The under-30s were in the caravan park, where Dexter and April discovered Sasha’s nudie photos. It’s ok, she says everyone is doing it. Casey thought Ruby was with Xave, when in fact she was only trying to catch his eye. Anyway, they are friends again and she is going to wait for him if he has to do a few long months of juvie. I hope she can stick to that promise, she’s never without a man for long.

I missed today’s episode, but here’s a text I got about it:

“it was awful aul shite. leah really is a pain in the hole. she wants to get her tubes tied. and sasha is seeing a guy doin his HAC& he’s gettin her to take nudie pictures of herself. U know that won’t work out?? very similiar to a neighbours storyline.”

Those Braxton boys are fierce hard to resist. Charlie was making pained faces as she tried to wean herself off Brax, again.  She’s staying strong, for now, but I don’t see it lasting.  Bianca nearly gave into temptation with Heath but stopped short of taking it to the next level with him. Ruby makes it a hat trick of babes besotted by Braxton with her continuing Casey conundrum.  She wants him, he pretends he doesn’t want her.  Ruby should give up on Casey and concentrate on other things.  I reckon she could rent her hair out to the department of the environment as a wildlife sanctuary.

Leah is still struggling to come to terms with losing the baby. Miles is caught in the crossfire. I can’t see this lasting too much longer.  She’ll ditch him and Elijah will mop up afterwards.

Casey turned himself in to the cops, and reckons he’s going to jail or juvie. That’s why he’s keeping Ruby at arm’s length. I reckon he’ll be out for the HSC.

Leah is back to work. That can’t end well.

Sasha has a new male friend who apparently is a River Boy. I was confused about that as he had his top on at all times.

Liam Murphy took to the stage in Angelo’s and Gypsy was LOVING it. A budding romance, no doubt. Lily will be delighted. She thinks her ma is going to marry her flash boyfriend and leave her in the dust. That’s why she’s being such a brat.

Everyone is sad about Leah’s lost baby. Poor cute Veej was going to teach him to play football. Veej had a touch of Henry XVIII about him as he declared the baby was definitely a boy. Leah is pushing Miles away. Leah, noooooooooo!

Irene is doing it tough after her chemo. Her carers are terrible, they’re barely in the house to look after her. Plus they are both crushing on Rockstar Liam Murphy. LOVE TRIANGLE YO

Gina and the “save the school” crew are on the Dept. of Education. It turns out that they covered up the fact that the school wasn’t properly repaired after an earthquake in 2006. Inspector Xavier was the one who found the details in the school’s files.  Now the school is going to rebuilt after all. Final score: citizens of the bay 1, department 0.

Poor Leah is in a bad way.  It looks like she might have lost the baby. Veej called Miles, who was preoccupied with the school situation.  When Miles didn’t answer he called Elijah who rushed over.  He was there to comfort Leah, which is all well and good but wouldn’t he have been better calling Sid or the Ambos? No doubt Leah will now break up with Miles and get back with Elijah, who’s still holding a massive torch for her.

While Romeo was rescuing Harvey in the midst of the storm, only one of them got stage instructions on their script.  Harvey spoke in normal tones about his boat sinking while Romeo shouted to be heard over the roar of the wind.  I suppose it’s not that important when you have a compound fracture with bones sticking out of your leg. Romeo must be quite precious about his hair, he didn’t bother putting up his hood despite the weather. He did end up as quite the hero in this episode.

Leah got some pregnancy pains.  Why do this kind of thing always happen at times of crisis in the Bay? There are echoes of Angel giving birth in a car in the middle of a storm.

Coleen howling around the school was quite entertaining.  It sounded like she was auditioning for a part as the hunchback of notre dame.  Bianca came a cropper when the roof collapsed. I predict a life threatening condition which will clear up by the end of the week.

It seems the Bay, just like real life Dublin, is suffering from extreme weather conditions. That’s some coincidence considering that while the downpour was happening yesterday, I thought what we need now is Alf and the emergency rescue team in the orange suits.

Gawd save Ireland, Irene is having it tough. The cancer needs to be operated on but she’s told Leah and she’s ready to tell everybody about her cancer. That will be a weight off April’s young shoulders who was carrying the burden on her own.

Indi gets a lot of slagging on this blog for her insane outfits but her vest with the cat on it today was lovely on her.  Fairplay, for once.

In today’s episode, Marilyn talked Jessica the bride out of getting married. She robbed Leah of an order in the process. Jessica seemed fairly simple and downtrodden, so I’m surprised she took action.

It looks like Irene might have breast cancer. No-one has even noticed she’s out of sorts. Bianca broke up with Liam and is moping around. April’s too busy giving Bianca advice. Irene even had a slow-motion, soft-focus scene and still no-one copped on.

Roo called around to check on Sid. In return, he gave her a tongue-lashing over walking out on the Walkers. He’s a cheeky doctor.

Ah, those Summer Bay folk are mad. Sid has a few drinks and falls asleep on the couch, and it’s a SITUATION! They wouldn’t be able to cope round our way.

Sid found out he has a new daughter, borne of an old flame who has since died. It looks like he’ll have to take on Sasha, and her little brother, too.

Indi and Romeo are broke. She wants to move back in with Sid.

Miles has moved in with Leah. They were quick to christen the bedroom.
