Easily swayed

Ah lads, this is hard to watch. Poor simple Andy Barrett thinks Jake is his new best mate, and is hanging on his every word. THE BLEEDIN DOPE.

We in H&AI HQ were nearly feeling sorry for lovelorn Maddie there, until she was a total wagon to Evie.

Everyone’s keeping an eye on Oscar since his exercise coma, that’ll get tiresome quick.

Brax and Ricky don’t seem to bother going to their jobs on a regular basis.

I’m really happy, Nate

Ah Sophie. You are screwed now. Don’t you know that pride comes before a fall, especially in Summer Bay? From here, there’s nowhere to go but down. Sure, as soon as you left the room, Dr. MegaMuscles was looking worried.

The principal and the doctor have a nice new gaff. Very mod-ren altogether.

Andy came back and the dealer dudes released Evie and Josh. Somehow, Andy┬ápaid off the lads AND Brax. That’ll come back to bite him. Hannah inexplicably still fancies him, even though he is a megadose, and got her niece kidnapped.

John and Marilyn told Jett about Shandi, then there was an estranged daughter, adopted son meet-up. That was grand. I’m waiting for the drama, lads.

Maddie going mad

Thursday, October 2nd, 2014

It’s Maddie’s turn to have a go at being a wayward teen. She’s going to try it on with Oscar, to get back at Evie for stealing Josh, and she’s talking about leaving school. She does great brat, to be fair.

Apportioning blame

Apportioning blame

Jett is going to be John’s best man. Deadly. That buck’s night is going to be mental. Chris is hanging around like a bad smell, trying to be invited. Doesn’t John know that, in the grand old Home and Away tradition, you’re supposed to have someone you barely know in the bridal party?

Eff you, doc

Doctors are the most abused characters in Summer Bay. Any time someone’s in hospital, their relatives show up and slag off their medic’s professional skills until such time as the injured party miraculously recovers. Alf had a go at Dr. Accent today for being late for work. He was on call, but his phone was mysteriously on silent mode, something the good doc swore he never does. He’s blaming the ex-wife and no wonder, with her erstwhile unreliable druggy ways.

Roo is still unconscious, the victim of an as-yet-unnamed virus. Maddie is taking it hard, so Josh left her in the hospital to go off house riding with Evie. Unusually, this physical exertion didn’t end up with a topless youth in a hospital bed, but rather with an illicit smooch. What will Maddie say? Probably not too much, as she is leaning on Spencer for support and he is currently girlfriend-free. Handy.

Ricky wants a baby, and Brax doesn’t. He’s afraid the child will turn out to be a DOG like Danny, and Darryl himself apparently. Like all Brax decisions, this one is rooted in martyrdom.

Ok, close your textbooks.

Sophie is a renegade teacher; she had her art class ignore the prescribed texts, and instead talked about art theory. I’m sure the kids think she is very cool now.

Eh, what age is yer man on the right? He looks like he should have a wife, a job, and two kids.

Evie and Josh swapped self-portrait assignments and did lovely pictures of one another. Hannah and Spencer are wise to them. It’ll be no time before they are a couple. Maddie won’t be impressed, she’ll do yet another megasulk.

Brax is annoyed that he has no problems to solve. OIIIIIIIII!
