I had suspected that Charlie might go out with a bang but that wasn’t what I was expecting. Who the hell was that? Was it Jake’s brother? Poor Charlie, 2 bullets to the chest, no way she could survive that in the real world . If only there were an amazing surgeon-pediatrician-MD-psychiatrist-nurse-ambo around to perform a life saving operation. Unfortunately for Charlie, the only one of those is banged up for bashing Stew.

Ever since Nicole left town, there’s been an absence of promiscuity. Maybe April is auditioning for the new Nicole. She’s following in a long line of good girls gone bad stretching back to Selina via Martha and Nicole along the way. April was going to do her best to take it to the next level and it didn’t matter who it was with, even her sister’s ex. She and Heath went straight from level zero to all the way. She was thrilled when she woke up next to him the following morning. Seeing him hop out the window made me nostalgic for the glory days of Belle and Aden. Bianca is going to flip when she finds out, that would be a mighty bombshell to blow up on her wedding day.

Well, we asked and you answered.  Unsurprisingly, the most popular person in the Bay is none other than everyone’s favourite galah, Mr. Alf Stewart.

There were some surprises though.  For example, Aden and Belle made the top ten.  I’d say it was on account of their ridiness.  Belle in particular was a bit moany, no?

In today’s episode, Ruby got Geoff to take it to the next level with her.  What was her secret weapon?  Fairy lights.  Geoff loves them, can’t get enough of them, thinks they are dead sexy.

Nicole, in the space of about two hours, found out Liam cheated on her, broke up with him, and decided she was in love with Aden.  The girl must be working to a deadline.  Also, her hair was deadly tied up.

Aden got the ok to move on from dead Belle, so he quit his job, nicked a car, and took Nicole on a spin.  Not his brightest move.

Finally, Leah got Miles to eat something.  I miss the days when he was eating in every scene.

Ooh Aden brought a moany bird to the formal and ended up with Silvery Nicole the whole night.    Only, when he was about to go in for the kill, he was reminded of Belle and went nuts.  Nicole and Liam had their “I respect you, I won’t rush you” talk for about the fifth time.  Snoooooooooooze.

Martha found an engagement ring.  It took her about twenty seconds before she copped on.  Meanwhile, across town, Hugo was staring at a picture of Martha and Jack on their wedding day for ages.  WHAT DOES HE KNOW?  IS JACK STILL ALIVE?

Suzy tried to lure Hugo back to Indonesia.  Eff off Suzy.

Mmmm, I wonder where this bullying storyline is going?  Now that Miles pulled Riley round the yard a bit, he’ll surely be up for assault.  Then he’ll be suspended from his job.  Then he’ll be vindicated and given his job back.  In the middle somewhere I think Leah will lob the gob.

Nicole and Aden had a good oul’ flirt in the sea; Belle will be thrilled.  Liam will be less thrilled.  What about that wan he was teaching guitar to?  What was the story with her hair?

This one features loads of Aden crying and Matilda. I miss Matilda.

Drew crops up at one point. Poor form of him not to turn up at Belle’s funeral, or even get a mention.

Home and Away is secretly a bit holy; did you see Irene proclaiming that Belle isn’t really gone, and Flashback Belle talking about “moving on”?

Speaking of Belle, jaysis she had it all figured out. She handed out all of her worldly belongings to her mates, then drifted off. She told Nicole to look after Aden in any way she could, which seemed to be an invite for them to take it to the next level (again). Aden didn’t feel like it straight after the funeral, though.

If you “just want the pain to stop”, like Nicole, the one person you should not tell is Liam Murphy. He has a car full of drugs and nothing else to do, by the look of it. Nicole loves a bit of trouble, but at least she has flirty doc Sid to keep an eye out for her.

So, Belle is a goner. She only got married last week, yesterday she was swimming and today, she’s kaput. That was the fastest non-accidental demise ever.

Still and all when it came to it, it was touching, and nice that Belle got to go home to Irene’s. I half expected Aden to climb out the window the next morning. Earlier in the episode there was loads of messing with Liam Murphy trying to make amends, and Amanda trying to hospitalise Belle. Sound Doctor Sid sorted her out by calling Rachel in. I’m not really sure what Rachel did, but it worked.
