The exorcism

June 18th, 2013 by Flathead

April has a problem. Being in Dex’s gaff reminds her of the fact that he was with Steph. Their combined wisdom came up with the solution of conducting an exorcism i.e. throwing out his mattress and bed linen. Smart move lads, now they have to go back and sleep in Irene’s.

Heath is trying to make friends with April and Dex. Heath suggested knocking back a few cold ones but lunchtime was too early for Dex. I can see the two of them becoming firm mates.

Zac is in the doghouse for not agreeing with Natalie. She reckons that he is not qualified to deal with the kids and he says she’s jealous of his connection with them so she made him sleep in his car. Bianca told them to zip it and sort it out. A beach pow wow later and they’re giving it another go.

Jett has a girlfriend. John is thrilled for him but sad that he can’t share it with Gina. Jett’s girlfriend wants to be taken on a proper date, which is a bit much at 14. I would have thought hanging out on the beach or the diner would have been enough for them.

Eh is April forgetting she went all the way with Heath? Must be awkward for dex and Bianca!
Nat is super mean was your man not a counsellor inside and she’s bangin on about how under qualified he is?

I think the Heath-April storyline got caught in the Summer Bay timewarp… it’s yesterday’s news…
I can’t remember what Zack was trained in, he’s definitely a social worker of some kind. He does get on well with the kids but he is kind of taking over Natalie’s job. I mean, he’s supposed to be a teacher, his responsibility is to a whole class full of kids, not just one. He should have referred the matter on to Nat instead of taking over, in her office no less. He shouldn’t have left a class full of teenagers on their own for what seemed like more than a class period! I wasn’t impressed. Still, Nat should have been in her office in the first place instead of wondering why she’s not being asked to help out. Where is she when these events happen … and then comes asking why people didn’t look for her?

Nosey Nat always seems to be sorting out other people’s problems outside school. I’d say we have only seen about three counselling sessions in her office.

I thought it was very awkward when Heath gave lip back to April over not tidying up. He acts like she is his annoying little sister now instead of an ex.
