Dun dun DUN!

June 29th, 2010 by Ailsa

Hurray, Home and Away madness is back!  Today’s episode started with the ominous title “Six months ago”, and a shady figure having a great oul’ laugh at Alf on that documentary where he laments the hoons who’ve ruined his town.  Fast forward to the present day and there’s a strange new character at the diner chatting up Irene.  Strewth.  He seems to be a new love interest for Nicole (at least those are her intentions) but I bet he’s going to CHANGE THE BAY FOREVER.

That aside, there’s a “sexy” love triangle going on between Gina, John and Jill.  Very alliterative.  Jill wants John, John wants Gina but will make do with Jill, and Gina’s not sure if she wants John, but she definitely doesn’t want Jill to have him.  Romeo’s on Gina’s side, apparently she’s like a mother to him.  Phew.

I bet he’s Hugo’s long lost something-or-other and is also involved in people smuggling – aka the storyline that will never end. Either way, I’ve decided his name should be Thor. He clearly commands the skies, going on his dramatic entrance to the Bay. We all know it only ever rains when something awful is going to happen.
Jill is entirely inappropriate. If I were Romeo I would have shrivelled up with embarrassment about five leers at John ago. Bleh.

Home and away is great with openings that resemble lost.6 months ago cue
a sinister guy apparently finding Alf’s speech hilarious.
followed by flashy lightning and espionage music.
now all we need is a black monster and you have the makings of a great story lol
The whole John Gina Jill thing is ridiculous.
Hope they are the first to be taken by the monster.

maybe the summer bay bunyip will make a return as the monster

  5. lanos86 Says:

the new guy is seriously hot, but does miles never get suspicious after all thats happened when strange men say they need a van for “as long as it takes”

  6. Ailsa Says:

Poor old Miles. He’s too trusting. Did he ever find out the last dude was evil?

  7. Drew's Shrew Says:

Penn can scribble on my sheet any old time. Mmmrrrraaarrr, meeeow etc.

And so another bad boy who can’t love enters the Bay. How long before he’s broken & lovelorn at the hand of one of the regular SB floozies? If Martha were still around her knickers would have been off when the first bolt of lightening struck upon his arrival.

And can’t somebody PLEASE think of the children?! How many grown up men in Summer Bay are on the prowl for underage schoolgirls??

  8. dag dog Says:

Once there was the summer bay stalker… Now there’s Pen the summer bay shagger

  9. God Save Ireland! Says:

Well I hope he stays bad…but stays in the Bay,he is yummy!very familiar looking tho,was he in something before?
Also, how come Nicole gets all the hotties?!Altho considering John Palmer was the resident hottie for a while there, good girl Nicole for resisting his charms.
Buuuut Sid is coming back, will this cause trouble for Nic and Penn?!Or will it all be completely forgotten about within a week?

I don’t believe I’m still watching the series.Alf promised us some good family entertainmentwithout the vilence. Now we have Miles talking to himself aka rabbit, Martha and Hugo behaving like rabbits. Angelo seems to have completely lost it, firstly setting Martha and Hugo free and then stripping off on the beach. Next we have to accept Marilyn’s ventriloquist dummy which upsets Alf so much that he buries it and then it manages to rise from the grave and walk back to the house. So much for good family entertainment!Bring back normal people like Sally, Pippa and Morag.
