Jeffries brothers, undertakers at large

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Aden and Justin, his brother with the dopey voice, decided to continue their midnight escapades by returning to the scene of the crime, the spot where they buried their dad. Charlie knows something is up and is on the case, searching hard to find some clues as to what happened to Mr. Jeffries. But she was a little too slow here as the amateur undertakers found the body and got out of there before the YCPD could track them down. Another victory for the boys and girls in blue.

Justin had a heart to heart with Nicole and told him that Aden should join the army to sort his life out.  He’s said this a few times but never really explained why his thinks a military life would be the solution to Aden’s problems.  He expected Nicole to understand as her own dad, the much missed Roman, was in the SAS, but she seemed as confused as I am as to why it’s a good plan.

Marilyn’s days are numbered

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

Marilyn had a good chat with Doctor Rachel and told her that she’s dying.  The poor woman has had a rough trot as Alf would say, what with her son dying and having cancer.  She told Miles that she has less than a year to live.  She must have returned to the bay to live out her last days.

Miles has his own demons/rabbits to deal with.  He isn’t in favour of taking the medication or telling the doctor that Rabbit is still around. I think she’s here for the long haul.  Maybe somebody should build her a hutch out the back of the caravan park.

Resplendent princess

Annie and Romeo are now officially in love.  The oul light-a-few-candles-and-set-up-a-discoball trick worked.  They’re love’s young dream.

Ruby has a new love interest herself. Mega-rocker Liam Murphy is giving her singing lessons, and he’s fairly hands-on.  Of course he doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into, but he mightn’t mind too much.  We haven’t seen an illicit love affair in ages (Leah and Elijah doesn’t count).

Martha has recently remembered that Hugo is “dead” and her family are concerned for her state of mind.  Alf told Angelo he wanted to tell all, but Serge Risotto convined him to keep schtum.  Then the crafty copper went round to Martha’s with a pizza and the world’s strongest wine – the pair of them were locked after half a bottle.  Oops.  Meanwhile, Hugo hasn’t checked in with witness protection and is living in a dungeon somewhere with only Martha’s photo for company.  No good can come of this.

ray meagher gold logie

From ABC News

Ray Meagher won the Gold Logie.  Do you think Alf would be impressed?

Romeo won Most Popular New Male Talent as well.  Maybe Annie was on the panel.
