Summer Bay – popular with surfers, fishermen, rapists and psychopaths. Now that Ruby has met up with her dad, who raped Charlie, sure it’ll only be five minutes before he ends up in the bay. It’s a magnet for ne’er do wells. But maybe the sea air will have a calming and positive influence on him, causing him to mend his erroneous ways.
There have been previous reformed rapists who managed to be accepted in the bay. First there was Kane who raped Dani back in the day. He was eventually accepted by all, even Kirsty for some bizarre reason. In more recent times Henk made an appearance which shocked Rachel as he had raped her when they were younger. Cassie wasn’t too put off and went out with him despite his weird name.

Not sure H&A’s history of sexy rapists is a good rolemodel for da kidz.
Yet I personally have fancied Kane & Henk, and this new fella with the floppy hair may just grow on me… If only all rapists were as sexy.

Jaysus hogan you’d fit right in with the summer bay crowd. Tho Charlie was the first to be raped. The rest were just attacked. Remember melody was attacked and all he did was feel her knee but that was enough to drive her pure mental. Who would want to rape melody anyway. Well except for rapists I guess.

And remember Michael? The guy from the Believers cult that kidnapped Martha and attacked Tash to get her pregnant with their new leader. Who 2 months later Martha forgave and started dating and he somehow got custody of Annie and Geoff when Pops died? Nobody seemed to mind that he was an “attacker”. I also thought it strange that when Cassie got HIV from Henk nobody mentioned thats what happens when you date rapists.

Drew’s Shrew – I guess the lack of long-term bad boys in the bay upped Kane’s attractiveness. He stayed pretty bad, unlike the rest of them. We also used to call the two of them Pillhead and Rapist, in reference to the time Kirsty took an e tablet and nearly died, natch. I can’t remember if she had also got a job, but I’d say she had, cos in the Bay getting a real job invariably leads to doom, disaster and drug addiction…..
That Jonah/Michael story was really confusing – it was suggested that he had drugged Tasha and done the deed, but then he somehow got off the hook. The end result was her being knocked up tho, wasn’t it? It was priceless when Martha was trying to get everyone to accept him as her boyfy. Then again, if Pillhead could get her da to accept her marriage to Rapist, anything’s possible.
