Duncan has a lot to answer for; Seb was paralysed because of him. Duncan showed up in town after going away to live with Morag. He returned and left a trail of destruction in his wake. He encouraged Jade to try his home made drugs known as “nighty nights”. Jade had a go and was under Duncan’s devious spell. They stole a car and went driving out along Stewarts Point. Seb jumped on the bonnet and tried to stop them as he was going out with Jade. But alas poor Seb couldn’t halt the drug-fuelled demolition derby. They went off the cliff and Seb ended up in a hospital paralysed. When this happened he had to be sent off to the Whit Sundays with June the Klepto and his Grandad Flathead Fisher. You can be threatened with serious injury in Summer Bay but if it’s a permanent injury then you have to leave town.
Duncan went on to find a gun owned by Tasha. He used this to extort money from Tasha and used the money to fly to his sister Roo in America.
As he left Alf disowned him by saying “I have no son”. Would that it were Alf.
